The thesis try to combine achievements of Intellectual Research with Chen Yingzhen Research and via text-analysing to expound that Chen yingzhen's unique life experience acquaint him with another shade of Taiwan's history and social life which mainly contribute to his critical intellectual's attitude in his political novel. However, his critical intellectual's attitude is rather precious in contemporary Taiwan. In his novels, the protagonist is always oppressed by the milieu and even something supernatural and, he fights back but finally being tragically brought down. This proves the depredate nature of the so-called international capitalism's development in Taiwan. Also Chen Yingzhen ponders over the vicissitude of social life and history. Chen Yingzhen attach importance to depicting vivid anguish spirits pressed by social life and history, which represent his humanism to the agony-stricken hero. His political novels are regarded as spirits mirrors of contemporary Taiwan life and history which is different from that of Taiwan offical history.
