A Monographic Study On Han Dynasty·Yiwen Records

The first chapter of this thesis discusses history background of the forming of Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi .The first is the development of classified thoughtway.The second is the beginning of learned summarization from the metaphase of ZhanGuo .The third is the tradition of books'reorganization. Classify is an important means for people to know things. The classified thoughtway comes form the course of mankind know things . During the Yin and Shang period the ancient Chinese characters carved on tortoise shells or animal bones has been leaving with classified . Later there has been a passive classifying way that guarding books according to the official position . But this way brings tremendous influence on the classifying of books in the aftertime .But most of the classified thoughtways in Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi has been appeared before Liu and Ban. The learned summarization is another important factor that influence the classified thoughtway .The summarization from the late ZhanGuo is an important principle. The exploration that they seek common grounds while reserving differences in academically is confirmed ultimately in Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi. Before Han Dynasty books are all written in hand. During the course of coming down form mouth to ear different registrar produces different edition. Superadd the continual war the books become disheveled. In Han Dynasty the literature of Confucius has been endowed with exceptive meanings for Confucius himself is being honorific. Form Si Maqian to Liu Xiang and LiuXin then to Ban Gu, all of them take the books'reorganization as promulgating means for Confucianism. In chapter two of this thesis I dissertate the connection between Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi and learning. Firstly, Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi convergently reflect the learned development status of Han Dynasty : first is the amalgamation of hundred schools of thought ,second is the grown up of paleographic during the late Han Dynasty. Secondly , the academic thinking of Zhang Xuecheng's manifests the duty both on the history of academic and bibliography. Meanwhile if we take Zhang's thinking as the only duty on traditional bibliography it will not completely accord with the fact of the classical bibliography. Zhang's descriminate takes "Classics"as the core of bibliography and turns bibliography into the history of academic. Chapter three inspects the conception of literary form and the consciousness of literature in Han Dynasty. The sense of genre discrimination is vaguer such as the intension and the extension of Fu. The practical conception of genre shows that people haven't definitely know the practical writing and literature. So Liu and Ban are impossible to realize that poem and Fu can be independent types. In Han Dynasty the development of literature is in uncivilized stage. Though the writers of early Xi Han have tendentiousness of initiatively seeking grandiloquent language in the course of imitating ChuCi. The development of Classics suspend this seeking before it comes into consciousness. And the color of grandiloquent becomes faint. The standpoint of criticism on Sao and Fu isn't grandiloquent itself but its political valuable. In this background Liu and Ban are impossible to surpass their age and make Sao and Fu independent types . Chapter four inspects the reason that there isn't history type in Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi. The main reason is that the conception of historiography is still immature. It shows that there are so many history books in Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi but dispersed into other types. And the system of historiography is still not established. The tradition of the official historian in Pre-Qin directly influences the mature of historiography. Historiography is impossible to independent in Han Dynasty . So Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi is impossible to set one type for an unexist knowledge.
