Art education is part of elementary education as well as the intelligence education. It plays on unique important role in the whole education system. A secondary vocational school of arts, by its name, is a school where student are trained with special skill to meet the requirements of the job market, but in truth, in the majority of such schools in our country, it is college entrance examinations, rather than vocational education that is emphasized. Every year, many students of vocational schools fail in the college entrance examinations, and worse still. They fail to obtain basic skills to make a living in school, which is not only a strange cycle in education, but also a tragedy for the students. This situation has existed for years, the consequences and drawbacks of which have come to be criticized.This paper argues, through the analysis of the advantage of differentiating the middle-school education, that education should meet the youths' need and their capacity of cognition. Thus points out the importance of reformation in the contemporary middle-school education. Middle school should focus on both the skill and quality of students. Combining teaching reforms with her own teaching experiences, the author puts forward the suggestion of streaming the students considering their own conditions and choices . Students are to be put into different classes for preparation of going to university and of find a job on due occasions, so that leaning will be more clearly oriented and thus students' performance will be improved. Let every student learn the knowledge at the same time use the knowledge. The middle school should be a way both to the university and skillfulness.
