With the great efforts of the previous excellent elites the study of the inscriptions on brozne in Xizhou Dynasty has got a substantial achivement. These studies mainly focus on the explaining of the characters' figures, pronounciations, and meanings in order to understand the passages on the brones. The studies on the basis of taking the Xizhou's characters as a contemporary writing system is the weak part of the Xizhou's literal study all the time. The Xizhou's characters is a comparative unified wiriting system which was different from the systematized inscripts in the later six kingdoms. It links the inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells and is followed by Xiaozhuan,Qinli,and Hanli, then it is related to the system of the print character which is used in the later documents handed down. This paper will make a comparison with these two related writing systems, the system of Xizhou's character and that of the documents handed down, and will compare with the phenomena of the different characters to record the same word in order to observe the relationship among the formation of new characters, the elimination of the old ones, the reformance of the figure, and the loan of the characters. Tt also try to as accurate as possible induce the principles of the different characters used to record the same word, in order to give some preparing jobs for studing the basic rules of the development of the Chienes writing system.
