The Changes Of Yongzhou Urban Culture In Modern Times

This text is a thesis about the history of urban culture . The history of urban culture is part of urban history , which lays particular emphasis on observing and researching urban history from the angle and sight of culturology, mainly explores the evolvement of city human spirit and the development of urban civilization. At present the researches about the history of urban culture are rising which study big cities chiefly. But this article's research target is Yongzhou , which is located in the border area of South Hunan province and is a small city. This paper mainly inspects the changes process of Yongzhou urban culture in modern times and analyses its traits and the causes forming these traits. In order to grasp the changes of Yongzhou urban culture in modern times on the whole, the first part of this dissertation briefly discusses the production and development history of Yongzhou city and which culture characteristics it formed in her history development process. The second part expounds Yongzhou urban culture' modern times changes course at some length. Considering the proposition is much too big and moreover the data concerned is limited, the author chooses four aspects, namely city economic , city construction, city social culture and city leisure living to discuss .The last part of this text investigates Yongzhou urban culture' modern times changes totally .which firstly analyses its features and its forming causes and then discusses its influences and its initiation thinking .
