Analysis Of The Mental Health Of College Students

We are living in an age of high technology, an age of information, an age of multi-cultures and multi-values. Such an age requires us to take every opportunity to face the challenges; to go through setbacks and to bear the blow. We should go with the stream and play our different roles efficiently so as to face such a complex situation. Some people are already overwhelmed by pressure and then it is essential to improve the people's mental health. In our country, the youth is the hope and future. Only can we make our country more prosperous with the good development of our youth's mental and physical health. It is the duty of the whole society to improve the mental health of the youth, thus the youth will have the ability to meet all sorts of challenges.Generally speaking, the level of our youth's mental health is not very satisfactory although some mental health instructions have already been given. What's more, college students are more apt to have psychological problems. The major psychological problems among college students are as follows: interpersonal problems; study problems; emotional problems and job-choosing problems. So far, the inability to adapt to society quickly is the core trouble of the nowadays college students. The above mentioned problems not only affect the college students' daily life but also their mental and physical health.This thesis has found out the main factors that lead to the college students' psychological problems by analyzing their present mental health and the author put an emphasis on society adaptability (one important factor of mental health) to improve the level of college students' mental health through discussion.
