A Research On EQ Education Of The Students In Technical Secondary Schools

With the development of educational science, human have come to realize the fact that Intelligence Quotient is not the only way to measure the people's intelligence. Without the development of Emotional Quotient, one can't grow up into a person with high qualities and good health. Therefore, the education of EQ has become the teaching emphasis all over the world in the 21st century, especially to the juvenile. This thesis focuses on how to train and improve EQ of the students in technical secondary schoolsIn the foreword, the thesis puts forward the research background of EQ and the necessity to implement the education of EQ in technical secondary schools.In the first part, it introduces the origin and development of EQ, . Besides, it discusses the definition of EQ, and determines the content of EQ.In the second part, it depicts the psychological characteristics of the students in technical secondary schools and the current situation of EQ education in technical secondary schools. Furthermore, it analyses the students from these two aspects to prove that it is important to train and improve EQ of the students in technical secondary schools.In the third part, the thesis explains the influence of EQ on the students in technical secondary schools from the following aspects: their study ability, their personalities development, their endurance to frustration and their mental and body health.In the last part, the thesis puts forward some proposals on how to train and improve the EQ of the students. First, we should help the students to establish the correct pursuits and form the positive attitude towards study. Second, they should strengthen moral culture, and train their benevolence. Third, we should help them build a healthy and have self-esteem. Fourth, they should improve their communication ability and learn the spirit of cooperation. Fifth, we had better help the students to find out the reasonable attribution of study activity and train their sense of self -fulfillment. And, we should also help them overcome their negative affects and develop positive ones.. Finally, they should strengthen self-training of EQ.
