The Study And Explanation Of Typology To The Matching Frame Of The Two Kinds Of Conjunctions "sui" (虽) And "dan" (但) In Chinese Language

In modern Chinese language,the conjunctions "sui, suiran" and danshi" are often used as adversative conjunctions,which often forms the matching frame" suiran A,. danshi B". Besides "sui,suiran" and "dan, danshi ", there are many conjuctions in Chinese language such, as "suishi, suifu, suize, suishuo" and "er,ran, ran'er, buguo",etc.The first kind of them is called the kind of conjunctions "sui" ,the last one is the kind of conjunctions "dan". The kind of conjunctions "sui" often composes the matching frame with the adverbs "you, bi, yi,que" and the kind of conjunctions "dan". The thesis has investigated into the evolution of the matching frame of the two kinds of conjunctions "sui" and "dan" in Chinese history in an all-around way, and probed into the feature of their evolution ,and explained why they have evolved in such way from the typologic angle.The thesis mainly included the following five parts:Introduction: to summarize the study of the situation and significance;to limit the range of the two kinds of adversative conjunctions "sui" and "dan";to introduce the study methods and the resouses of linguistic material,etc.Part â… : The diachronic study of the matching frame of the two kinds of conjunctions "sui" and "dan". From the diachronic angle, on base of investigating typical linguistic material in Chinese language,the part describes the main members and their word order of the two kinds of conjunctions "sui" and "dan",and mainly describes the evolution of their matching frame on counting their frequency of utilization.Part â…¡: The feature of the evolution of the matching frame of the two kinds of conjunctions "sui" and "dan". This part analyzes the feature of evolution and word order of the two kinds of conjunctions,and mailyanalyzes the feature of evolution of their matching frame.Part III: The explanation of typology to the evolution of the matching frame of the two kinds of conjunctions "5w/"and "dan". First,the part clarifies the typologic significance of conjunctions,which points out that conjunctions are a major "relator"and reference of word-order typology.Then it explains the main cause of evolution of their matching frame by "relator theory",and predicts the developing tendency of conjunctions in Chinese language.Last, "the principle of information structure" is a cause that affects the evolution of the matching frame.Conclusion: to sum up the study of the thesis;to point out the important significance of the thesis that enrichs the study on word-order typology of conjunctions in Chinese language and provides the reference for Chinese teaching as a second language;to provide some fiither problems about the thesis.
