The Semantic Analysis Of The Evolutionary Situation For The Chinese Term "Tragedy" Between The End Of 19～(th) Century And Beginning Of The 20～(th) Century

The paper points to analysis the Chinese word tragedy evolutionary situation based on the related theories of semantics between the end of 19^th century and the beginning of the 20^th century.The paper is divided to two sections to study the semantic evolution of tragedy, they are textual research section and analysis section. The textual research section includes two parts in general. First of all, there are three phrases(1899—1904; 1910—1918; 20^th century 20S&30S) between the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20^th century. The author makes statistics of tragedy which emerges in the articles with the title related to literature and art. Meanwhile, it is supplemented by the corresponding, social and cultural background information. Secondly, the author pays dense attention on the outstanding assign topic of tragedy, stressing on finding out the influential opinions at that time on tragedy, as well as making sure their materials. For example, tragedy under WangGuoWei discourse system, CaiYuanPei and HuShi etc's viewpoints on it. LuXun Propose the classical proposition oriented in the essence of tragedy and ZhuGuangQian's systematic discussions on tragedy. The materials in this part are assigned chronologically into three phrases. As the basic task in the paper, arranging materials is the focus in this part; the second part is closely rooted on this part.The second section of the paper is using the semantic related theoretical knowledge to analysis the evolutionary situation for the Chinese trem "tragedy". It includes four parts, they are "tragedy" as a linguistic symbol revealing the basic principles, the "tragedy" in the textual environment, "tragedy" semantic field, "tragedy" seme analysis.The first part analyses tragedy according to the key knowledge of linguistics, which makes solid foundation for the later three parts in order to study the semantic evolution of tragedy. The second part is established as a transition for the semantic theory, and classified the researching field of the terms of tragedy between the relationship of superordinate terms and subordinate terms, they are dramatic field and aestheticfield.Basing on this, the author uses theory demographic analysis of tragedy objectively and expresses the tragedy semantics between the end of 19th century and the 20^th century 30s evolutionary process more directly. Later on, The author makes sure of the components of the terms of tragedy.
