The Study On Syntactic And Semantic Of Middle Construction

At present the research of Chinese middle construction is very insufficient.This article is on the basis of the research of English middle construction, according to the domestic existing research results, at first define the concept of middle construction .Then according to Case Grammar classify Chinese middle construction into three kinds: the object subject, the tool subject, the quarter subject. and point out that it is one kind of independent sentence type, because it is different with its corresponding initiative sentence, passive sentence, no matter at form or the semantic concept of sentence. Moreover Chinese middle construction is also different from object subject sentence,the difficulty sentence which are very similar to it. Afterwards the article further analyzes beginning of the sentence NP, middle phrase"V qilai/shangqu/zhe", AP choice limit and semantic characteristic.
