The Study On The Construction Of "V_gan+Qilai/Shangqu"

Firstly, this article extracts all the verbs from the "The Usage of Chinese Verbs Dictionary" that can present in the construction of "Vgan+Qilai/Shangqu" to make cle-ar of the range of the research contents. We put "Kan", "Ting", "Mo", "Wen" and "C-hang" as the sense verbs group, and recorded the construcion as "Vgan+Qilai/Shangq-u". And we recorded the constructions that are made up by other verbs as "Vdong+Q-ilai/Shangqu".This article focused on approaching the "Vgan+Qilai/Shangqu" construction from synchronic angle based on corpus study, discussing about the similarities and differen ces of the "Vgan+Qilai" and "Vgan+Shangqu" constructions which are made up by the same sense verbs from four perspectives. Based on this, we discussed about the relationship between these two constructions. Also, we compared the two types of the "V+Qilai/Shangqu"Besides, this article studied the characteristics of the construction of "Vgan+Qil-ai/Shangqu" from two angles including middle-construction and discourse marker. On the basis of precursor"s study, we summarized the necessary and sufficient conditions to decide whether the construction is middle construction or not, according to these c-onditions, we decided the Vgan+Qilai/Shangqu construction is not middle constructi-on. Through describing the different usages of "KanQilai", "KanShangqu", "TingQil-ai" and "TingShangqu",we decided that "KanQilai2","Kan-Shangqu2","Ting-Qilai2" and "Ting-Shangqu2" are discourse markers. From this, we summed up the necessary and sufficient conditions to decide whether the"Vgan+Qilai/Shangqu" construction is discourse marker or not. On these grounds, we concluded the other "V+Qilai/Shangq-u" construcions that made up by other sense verbs can not present as discourse marker in the sentences.
