The literature of " Wusi" period was summarized as" the literature of man". All values were founded by centering on "person". Zhou Zuoren had the most articles on the "person" in theory. He was the first person made the slogan of "the literature of man ". The direct source of the theory of the concept of "person" which in "Wusi" new literature was considered from the Western. " person " in "the literature of man " was defined as the value systems of Western individualism. But because of the dislocation of time and speaking context differences, the concept of "person" in Zhou Zuoren's "the literature of man" is not the "individual" of Western humanism system.This article is divided into four parts. In the first part I have carried on the brief summary to the Characteristic of the western person study thought since the Renaissance. The second part I combs according to the direct-viewing characteristic which Zhou Zuoren "the literature of man" view presents. The third part take the western person study characteristic as the reference, to explain Zhou Zuoren's "the literature of man" view. This part is an article most important part. Firstly, in "Wusi" period Zhou Zuoren proposed person on the human nature, in this part I has carried on the affirmation appraisal;Then as follows this part mainly talks about three aspects. The first part talks about Zhou Zuoren reads by mistake to the western person study thought. The second part explains traditional culture connotation which of Zhou Zuoren's person study thought. And the third part talks about the contradictory in his person study thought. The fourth part elaborated Zhou Zuoren "the literature of man" view took as the new-vernacular literature initial theory resources, the influence which produces to the new-vernacular literature creation. The article sets Zhou Zuoren's person study thought to under the background of the west humanism .I has carried on dissimilar carefully examining to his person of study thought.
