The Influence Of Zhou Zuoren's Early Literary Exploration On The Transformation Of Late Literary Thoughts

It is found that his view of’literature of human’consisted of’humanitarian’and’individualism’presents its unique characteristics. Although Zhou Zuoren referenced Tolstoy’s’humanitarian’, he changed its meaning when he understood the view. At the same time, Zhou Zuoren put forward the’individualism of the world’s stand’to expressed his conscious undertaking of the nation and social. For the purpose of the collective harmony and strength, his’individualism’purses the individual fullness and independence. The ’individualism’requires that the individual need separate himself from the collective to achieve self-improvement. Then he can return the collective to take the responsibility of the collective. Its aim is the coexistence of individual and the collective. But the opinion which is a compromise of his ideas from references and realistic problems is paradoxical.
