The Category "Fa" In Chinese Ancient Prose Theories

"Fa"is an important category in Chinese ancient prose theories, representing the prose creations and the norm of the theories, reflecting the process of the literary style of a prose from the establishment of its independent position to the realization of mature stylistic pattern, and breaking the old pattern continuously in its development, building up the efforts and results of the new literary style, which has significance on the prose creation and the development of theories. However, as for the connotation of the category"Fa"in the prose theories and the important role in the history of prose theories, still remains the room to study. This paper chooses the"Fa"category in ancient prose theories as the subject of the study, and expects to recognize the development process of the prose theories to a certain degree.This paper consists three parts: introduction, body and conclusion. Introduction puts forward the significance of choosing this subject, the early appearance and connotation of"Fa"; the establishment of the category"Fa"in prose theories and three connotations which this category contains. The body takes three kinds of connotations of the category"Fa"as the clue, discussing them respectively. Section One,"Fa"that imitate.
