A Research Into The Compound Words Of Taipingjing And The Great Chinese Dictionary

Taipingjing,the first book of Chinese Taoism,whose preaching object is the roughscuff. In order for the convinence of airring doxy,Taipingjing was written in an interlocutory way, so there are many colloquial words in the book which can reflect the genuine lingual visage better. Therefore, Taipingjing is a precious philological material for researching the Chinese language in Donghan Dynasty. This dissertation is an exhaustive investigation on the compound words of Taipingjing. Checking the words with the Great Chinese Dictionary one by one,the author strives for discovering and correcting the problems on collecting lemmas, glozing meanings and enumerating examples. I hope which can supply some valuable materials for the revision work of the Great Chinese Dictionary.After the statistic on the compound words of Taipingjing,we can advance the appearance of 266 lemmas and 398 sememes in the Great Chinese Dictionary, supplement 503 lemmas and 100 sememes which are not included in the Great Chinese Dictionary, correct the mistake on the explaination of 10 lemmas,supplement the examples of 25 lemmas.
