Research On The Discourse Of Adminisitrative Documents

This paper is a monographic study of discourse analysis applied to practical cases. It analyses the discourse of administrative documents by adopting the theory of discourse pragmatics, combining with some theories of pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, functional linguistics and sociolinguistics etc. ,using the method of description and illustration. It reveals and concludes the special rule of the production process of administrative document by explaining the different stages of the production process of administrative document , the relationship between administrative document and its user and the characteristics of different aspects of administrative document.The writer of this paper believe administrative document is a social activity and a behavior conducted by language. There is a high correlation between administrative document and its user. The user's legal character determines the authority of the discourse function of administrative document. The mutual relationship between the deliverer of document and the receiver of document affects and restricts the production of administrative document. In order to play the functional role of the discourse efficiently, the deliverer adopts all kinds of strategies in all aspects of discourse production to make the receiver understand and carry it out. Administrative documents have their own characteristics when classifying the types, arranging the structure and choosing the language and these characteristics make administrative documents legal, serious and restrictive. Moreover, this paper analyses the super text of administrative document creatively.The writer believes administrative document shows its clear characteristic of super text because of the connection and social intercourse legal power of policy performance in official business activity. And it makes the discourse information convey and explain fully. So the function of conducting by language is played more efficiently.
