When we study Chinese and its morphology, we always encounter many problems about parts of speech and many kinds of phenomenon that a word has several functions and features. Recent years, with development and change of society, problems of parts of speech have had many new changes, and many forms that a word has several functions and features have regularized. Similarly, many usages we thought them wrong in the past have been accepted generally, and many new forms (for example noun' s adjective usage) prevail rapidly under the mechanism of analogism, specially, lots of nouns occur to adjective usage. A word having functions both noun and adjective, and noun' s adjective usage are worth to study, this study has many values in semantics, syntax, and pragmatics. In semantics, the meaning of a word has several functions and features has occurred to change certainly. A noun having functions and features both noun and adjective or adjective usage depends on semantic features of noun. Meanings have changed are connected with original meanings more or less. Through studying these meanings, we can find a new view in semantics. In syntax, mixed usages both noun and adjective all have specific forms of syntax, so we can determine a part of speech in these forms finally. Either to show parts of speech in syntax, or to be restricted by sentences, we all should study further.
