The author's preface of Call to Arms is a very important narrative through which Luxun legalize Chinese modern literature. Over a long period of time, identifying with Luxun's views on enlightening, most scholars have repeatedly quoted famous 'The accident of filmstrip ' , 'Abandoning medical science to take on literature', 'The iron house' undoubtedly and even think that these narratives are facts. In the first chapter, from the angle of vision and power we expound that behind Luxun's 'spectators' complex there are two layers' traumas of 'being seen': the first is that Luxun, who had been a superior spectators in an advantageous position, fell into a disgraceful position where he was seen and discriminated by other people because of disasters of his family; the second is that as a Chinese student who studied in Japan, Luxun was also seen and discriminated by Japanese. To Luxun himself, the trauma of the first layer was a 'fatal' trauma. We jump out of the traditional enlightening position and make a new explanation of 'The accident of filmstrip '. In the second chapter, from the angle of body politics we criticize Luxun's enlightening position of subordinating body to mind and point out there is a inevitable relation between spiritual numbness and body sufferings for these people who are at the bottom of society. If we ignore their body sufferings, it is impossible to ' change their sprit'. In the third chapter, from the angle of culture capital we analyze Luxun's 'The iron house' and point out that there are no born 'prophets' and 'sleepers'. The division between the 'prophets' and the 'sleepers' in 'The iron house' is produced by the unfair distribution of culture capital, to destroy 'The iron house' ,we must destroy the unfair distribution of culture capital at first. According to our critical analysis on Luxun's three famous enlightening metanarratives, it is easy to find out two serious defects in Luxun's enlightening views: one is depreciating body, the other is paying no attention to the unfair distribution of culture capital. Therefore the premise of true ' new enlightening movement' is to conquer above-mentioned two serious defects.
