Social-self-concept is the perceptions of one's roles that he or she plays in his or her social life, including the cognition and evaluation of his or her role relation, role status, role norm, role-playing skill and role experience.This study has revised the adolescent social-self-concept questionaire made by Zhao Lixia and Zhang Dajun to make a better scale reliability and a norm.On the bases of specialist-counseling and analyzing related reference, the researcher has revised some items. Part of the items were deleted after analyzing the data from a sample of the students from five middle schools in Chongqing and Sichuan Province. Then the formal investigation was conducted on a sample of 3133 adolescents from 13 middle schools in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing Province by using random sampling. By analyzing the data just mentioned through item analysis and exploratory factors analysis, a revised questionnaire on social-self-concept for adolescent was made, composed of nine factors and 42 items. The revised questionnaire on social-self-concept for adolescent has a homogeneity reliability of 0.841 and a re-measured reliability of 0.798, and has a correlation coefficient of 0.553 with Texas social behavior scale.An analysis of variance was conducted to build a norm for the adolescent in the Southwest China.
