In Social Transformation Of The Great Rear Area Southwest Industrail Association During The Anti-Japanese War

Southwest Industrail Association(SIA) that was an important economic association in the great rear area in the Anti-Japanese War had important influence on the social and political changes and the economic development. This paper initially makes clear the foundation and deveopment of SIA and opens out its contributions and actions to the social, poltical and economic changes in the great rear area by studying SIA's publication, SOUTHWEST INDUSTRY MESSAGE, and interrelated historical data.The paper was composed of three parts: preface, main text and conclusion.In the preface, it introduces the origin of selecting the topic, limits the object to be studied and briefly narrates the key points and difficulties in the paper.The main text contains four parts. In the first part ,the origin of SIA and the background and course of SIA's foundation are illuminated. The second part narrates SIA's statute, related orgnization structure and SIA's mostly activities.The third part dissertates SIA's efforts and contributions to the economic development in the great rear area. The last part analyses the change of SIA's political standpoint in the late anti-Japanese war period, as an industrial association closly related to National Government on politics, and the couses of the change.The conclusion briefly appraises SIA's historial achievment to economic development in the great rear area and illuminates the realistic sense of studying SIA.
