Research On Jinyanji

The scholars of Song dynasty were famous for their plentiful political views: there are hundreds of their collections recorded in "The history of Song dynasty", which are very useful in studying the history of Song dynasty. But only less than ten of these collections exist now."Jinyanji", a special one among them , written by Liu Anshi who was the elite of politicians and the great master of YuanCheng School(元 城学派) in North-Song dynasty, has fortunately survived entirely. So it is the first-hand material and is valuable for the study of Song dynasty. Regrettably, untill now there are several basic questions, such as who compiled it, when it was compiled, or by which way it comes down , remained less known by the researchers . This has without doubt restricted the relative research in a very great degree.By utilizing the philological method, based on careful collecting and analysis of relative historical literatures , this discourse answers the questions mentioned above in the following several aspects:1, finds the compilers of "Jinyanji" and the compiling time. ? 2, clearly reviews the different editions during its coming down course.3, finds two important articles which was not included in "Jinyanji" and gives the reasons why they were not compiled by Liu Anshi.4, presents new understanding about the political activities of Liu Anshi.5, delivers the chronicle of the whole life of Liu Anshi.
