In the sense of anxiety, the outlook on wars appeared distinct levels: "non-war", "deliberation in war", "against a war by another". Such kind of outlook on wars of ancient Chinese people started to sprout in the period of "Book of Poetry". At that time, people managed to make sense of the wars spontaneously, which laid the emotional keynote for Chinese nation's outlook on wars. The rational recognition of various schools in Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period promoted the formation of a mature outlook on wars. Poets in following generations combined the sense of anxiety with the outlook on wars, and created considerable great poems on wars which were rich in emotions and highly rational. These poems sounds melancholy and gloomy, their theme or content concerned the disaster that the wars had brought to people. Cao Cao was a pioneer among the poets, whose poems had rational thoughts, and appeared bright transition trace from "the empirical ego" to "great me"; Chen Zi-ang had popularized the thoughts of Cao Cao, the sense of anxiety in his poems was clear and enlightened the followers; Du Fu, one of the most famous poets, who excelled in expressing complicated and painful feeling caused by worrying about both country and people ,and expressing his view on wars as a genuine poet.
