Job satisfaction directly affects medical workers' activity, initiative and creativity so that it affects the quality and efficiency of medical service, and hence, the satisfaction of patients. Satisfaction measurement helps us to understand the job satisfaction of medical workers and improves the hospital management and incentive system directly. To improve medical workers' job satisfaction will enhance the function of medical system, set up a harmonious relationship between medical workers and patients and obtain a good efficiency socially and economically. So, medical workers' job satisfaction improvement has become a more and more important consideration for hospital management. This dissertation carries out a basic empirical study on the factors structure of job satisfaction I for medical workers with different grade hospitals, and it will lay a theoretical foundation for hospital management so as to improve their management and medical workers' job satisfaction effectively.This study has five parts. Part one will include the definition, research position of job satisfaction; the research position on medical workers' job satisfaction. This part will provide a theoretical foundation for further research.Part two uses an exploratory factor analysis to discuss the factors structure for medical workers' job satisfaction. The analysis shows the relative eight factors. These are: leadership behavior, salary, colleague relationship, social status, professional training, job condition, job characteristics and assessment.Part three establishes a questionnaire for medical workers' job satisfaction investigation which contain 34 items.
