As China has entered the development stage of economic transformation,innovation driven, it is very important to develop the cultural industry vigorously,enhance the technology, and grab the commanding heights of the cultural industry.The cultural industry turned into a boom in Tianjin, where a long history and richcultural resources exist."Tianjin city national economic and social development in theTwelfth Five Year Plan" clearly put forward that " added value of cultural industrywith an annual growth rate of30%, becoming one of the pillar industries". It isimportant to promote the culture and technology integration to realize the target, andthe scientific and technical workers are the most active elements to promote theintegration of culture and technology, whose satisfaction about work and life plays animportant role in stimulating their innovation intention, mobilizing the enthusiasmand creativity effectively.The satisfaction of scientific and technical workers from cultural industries inTianjin, was studied from the perspective of satisfaction in this paper systematically.Firstly, the basic concept of the cultural industry, science and technology workers,satisfaction, and the relevant theories about satisfaction are described; secondly, Thequestionnaire design was done on the base of theoretical guidance and interview, andthe questionnaires were distributed among41the companies with differentcharacteristics.386valid questionnaires were collected. Thirdly, the level ofsatisfaction, the main influencing factors and the relationship with innovation,entrepreneurial and turnover intention were studied by using descriptive statisticanalysis, T-test, ANOVA, factor analysis, stepwise multiple linear regressions,correlation analysis and other methods. Finally, countermeasures are put forward toimprove the satisfaction level according to the problems existing.The main conclusions of this paper are: the overall satisfaction of the scientificand technical personnel from the cultural industries in Tianjin is at the middle level.The job satisfaction is mainly affected by management system as well as personalfulfillment, working environment and interpersonal relationships, etc. Job satisfactionaffects the willingness to innovate positively, turnover intention negatively. The lifesatisfaction is mainly affected by return, housing conditions, the individual situation;Negative correlation between life satisfaction and turnover intention is significant. On the basis of the above, the proposals are put forward from three sides: the government,industry and enterprise, to improve the satisfaction about the scientific and technicalworkers of cultural industry in Tianjin in terms of capital, policy as well as theplatform to build, etc.
