| Chinese education is the main way that the overseas Chinese carries on the national language and the Chinese tradition education .As a result of the particularity of Chinese education, its development history although glorious but also filled with winding. Undergoing the police of repressing development in the period of cold war, since after the cold war, along with the change of the international situation and the promotion of Chinese international standing, Chinese education is taken again. The article chooses Chinese education in the Philippines and Thailand after cold war as the research object, and analyzes the reason and the characteristic of Chinese education development in the two countries. In this analysis, the article mainly unifies these factors as international environment, the two country's Chinese education police and the change of overseas Chinese community . In the research technique, this article bases on the correlation research of predecessor , uses the historical analysis and the induction and collects and classifies the data .Finally profited from the Comparative Education analysis pattern of the Edmund King, the article compared the difference in Chinese education between Philippine and Thailand after cold war from the points of the background , the educational structure and its each microscopic stratification plane (teachers, curriculum and teaching medium language, funds origin and so on) .Though the comparison, this article's conclusion is obtained ,that is ,after the cold war, Philippine and Thailand' Chinese education both develops and the development reason more or less the same; the development characteristic of Chinese education is different between the Philippines and Thailand, it is caused by the different characteristic of the two country's Chinese community, the different attitude of two country's overseas Chinese to the Chinese education and the difference of the two country's Chinese education policy.
