The present paper, taking the Chinese newspapers, magazine and publications written by Indonesian Chinese as corpus. Collects and illustrates peculiar general words exclusively used in Indonesian Chinese with the reference of other literatures. The meaning and usage of these peculiar words are explained and exemplified. There are six types of Indonesian peculiar Chinese: Words made by Indonesian, Words with same substance and different forms, Words of same form and different substance, ancient Chinese, Dialects of south China and others.The reasoning of the forming of Indonesian Peculiar Chinese Words are concluded as follows: the influence of the situation of Indonesia; the influence of classical Chinese; the influence of Min Dialects, Cantonese, and Hakka; the influence of other oversea Chinese.Lastly, characteristic of Indonesian peculiar Chinese is concluded.
