The number of Indonesians coming to china to learn Chinese is increasing, regardless of whether they have learnt Chinese in Indonesia or have not learnt any Chinese but has basic knowledge in Chinese,they always encounter some bias in learning separable words(离合词--aChinese term for separable words).for Indonesians learning modern Chinese the following is a classification of the situations in which it occurs, when Indonesian students studying separable words error analysis, for Bahasa Indonesia-chinese translation and teaching method for further in-depth study. This thesis is to improve hope the effect on teaching Chinese as a foreign language and increase the knowledge for the learners.This paper uses Indonesian student’s point of view in researching and analyzing on separable words. The hope is that this paper will have an effect on Chinese-mandarin teaching in Indonesia as a whole and put forward a more target-oriented and effective method to learn Chinese.
