The Study Of The Structure "Attribute +的+ Personal Pronoun"

This paper takes the structure "attribute +çš„+ personal pronoun" as the research object, and proves its validity in three aspects of grammar, semantics and expression function, by means of statistics, analogy, description, induction etc. Firstly, to the grammar aspect, this paper describes the personal pronoun as well as the basic constitutions of the attribute, and analyzes the grammatical function of the structure in sentence plane and syntax plane. Secondly, to the semantic aspect, according to the differences of the attribute constitutions, this paper induces the semantic relations between NP and PP, AP and PP, VP and PP. And the last ,to the expression function aspect, this paper summarizes that the "NP+çš„+PP" mainly has "the overall topic function", "the rhetoric function" and "the function of increasing the sentence information capacity", and the "AP+çš„+PP" mainly has "the subjective appraisal function" as well as "the function of increasing the sentence information capacity", and the "VP+çš„+PP" mainly has "the function of increasing the sentence information capacity", " the function of stressing expressive points", and "the sentence type correspondence function" .The research indicates that, the structure "attribute +çš„+ personal pronoun" is universal in constitution and multiple in grammatical function, and also is coherent in semantics and usable in expression. These four major characteristics prove that the structure "attribute +çš„+ personal pronoun" is not an individual, temporary phenomenon. It should be and must be admitted as a stable rule in Chinese.
