A Brief Introduction Of The Hero Danma About His Life Experience And Birthplace In The Epic Gesar

Epic Gesar is the wisdom crystal of the Tibetan people; it reflects the historic condition of the tribal war, kingdom fighting and the uniting of the small countries .It has a higher literature artistic feature and a certain historic feature. There for, while studying one of the characters in the Gesar can be done from two lines. This paper tries to analyze the heroic character of Dan ma in the Epic Gesar with the material which I got during my field research work.There are three parts in this paper.In the introduction mentioned the position, the meaning of the studying , the purpose and the present condition of the hero Dan maPart One analyses several legends of the life experiences of Danma. That is the saying of "son of Dragon" "Be bom in Ling kingdom" and "the descendant of the King Sahor's ".Part two elaborates the hometown of Danma and the time of when the place name "Dankhog" appeared, pointed out that the name Dankhog in the epic Gesar is actually today's Shiqu County in Sichuan province.Part three elaborates Danma's character and moral, the contributions he had made.In the last part of the paper elaborates the discovering of the new hand written copy of Dan ma naps rdzon.
