The Thought Of Modernity On The Light Of Thinking Way

The question of modernity is the matter of concern very much. The current theory also highly pays attention to the research of modernity, in the philosophy, the literature, the politics, the sociology and so on the different discipline, the study of different thought also is the hot question. Looking the area of the 20th century world , whether the social culture crisis which the western developed country occurs, or the developing nation, their cultural value conflict which experiences in the modernized advancement, all relate with the modernity, that is a sensitive question . Therefore, the research and analysis of modernity has attracted the 20th century very many renowned thinkers , but the different thinker also has the different angle to understand the modernity in different facets and characters. In a world, each thinker studies the modernity in different way and explains the modernity's different side and characters. The Frankfurt school of thought Marcuse Herbert and renowned scholar Antony Giddens who was engaged in the society fundamental research for a long time, they have done the more thorough research from the sociological angle of modernity. To research the modernity may from the different angle, the different side, this article stresses on the thinking mode , on the one hand is because from the thinking mode angle of study the person is not very many; On the other hand because takes the Marcuse Herbert and Giddens' modern thought as the example, the research of the " one-dimension" thinking mode and the reflect thinking mode are different and their origin, realizing the person's thinking mode is able to along with the time difference and the difference, and seeing the transformation of this thinking mode can bring some enlighten revelation for the people.This article the first part elaborates the person's thinking mode ,namely the thinking mode of modernity implication; The second part explains Marcus: under the "one-dimension" of thinking mode of modernity thoughts ;The third part elaborates Giddens: Under the reflection of thinking mode modern of modernity thoughts , mainly the reflection thought 's implication and the power and the consequence of modernity ; The fourth part explains the two kind of thinking mode's difference and its the origin, namely the time is different, the difference of analyzing question starting point, the manner of treating society prospect is different, solving the question method is different; The fifth part is the concluding remark, mainly elaborates the Marcuse from the critique which the thinking mode of "one-dimension" propose the denial thinking mode which has enriched the dialectical thought content; Giddens elaborates the reflection of thinking mode has enriched the thinking mode which is practices of Marx; the thinking mode "one-dimension" transforms the thinking mode of reflection which brings some enlightenment for us.
