Network University English Teaching System Modelling Based On UML

With the development of multimedia and network technology, it is urgent to building a new model to break the traditional education which is unlimited by geographical or time, and it is a continuing education, lifelong learning. While Internet-based distance education which is building an open learning environment, unlike the traditional education constrained in time and space, it is an effectively way in using of existing educational resources and it plays a very important role in rational allocation of resources and the development of education. It has to address this issue in an effective solution.But nowadays network university English teaching platform exist insufficient, can't good at teaching, and can't meet the requirement of innovative personnel training. Moreover, due to the relatively short history of the development of technology, and Web application software is a much shorter history, especially in the development of network applications of College English website design. The system analysis often neglects in Web-program, resulting in a chaotic state in website-design.This study is under the guiding ideology of construct and software engineering theory. And the research material is the first volume of College English. Rational Rose and UML modeling tool which is the visualization of the system description are used to map the structure of the case diagram, static diagram, dynamic diagram, physical diagram. It aims at building a series of diagrams during the system analysis of the network College English。Research shows that through using unified modeling language to model the network college English teaching system, it is efficiency in solving the problems that nowadays Web College English Systems are not complete to develop the systematic function; they can't realize the individualization, the interaction university English teaching. It is efficiency in the development of the system Code reuse and raise rates, it greatly reducing the development cycle, saving manpower and financial resources.This system has planned three main functional modules. They are instruction, learning and management. And the system has those features:One is based on OO modeling, the system has teacher's model,learner's model and background's model. And another is knowledge-database, which consists of knowledge-dollar based on teaching's content.Due to short of time, this paper has not conducted an in-depth study in the network of university research on how to effectively carry out the teaching of English and it be further improved.
