Nowadays, along with the eruptible increasing of the visual version in social reality, traditional art education in middle school becomes incapable. For change this circumstance, it should reform today's art education in teachers'college. This article tries to make a serious analyze on art education both in middle school and in teachers'college start with the latest investigations of visual culture and visual literacy. And it formulates the attitude and suggestion to the reformation in art education of teachers'college at present.Today's art education in teachers'college should set up with the theories of visual accomplishment, but not be restricted with the traditional painting skill and the training of the taste ability. The art education should expand the depth and extent; put the visual version like animation, cartoon, film, and construction into the education system; enhances the courses like cognitive psychology, communication theories; pay great attention to the study of modern digital visual technology and visual medium technology, etc. to improve the modern visual achievement in whole, and cultivate the all-round developmental manpower of art education for society in future.
