Research On The Synonym-compounds Of Nouns, Verbs And Adjectives In Zhuangzi

In the lexical of ancient Chinese, the study on synonym-compounds is an important item. The appearance of synonym-compounds is the beginning of Chinese disyllabilization, and an important aspect of the study on Chinese lexicology history, based on which the course of Chinese disyllabilization can be deeply reached. What's more, study on the synonym-compounds in monographs helps to find a good cut-in point for the lexical research of ancient Chinese, and is of great significance as to revealing the lexical profile of a certain period.One of the famous works of pre-Qin Dynasty Zhuangzi being the linguistic material, the article confirms 231nouns, verbs and adjectives as synonym-compounds, by referring to early remarks and modern theory of lexicology. And by analyzing and reviewing the respective semantic systems of the word roots that make up the synonym-compounds, thearticle confirms their common sememes in Zhuangzi. And based on the confirmations,the article induces its semantic formation of nouns,verbs and adjectives,and compares part of its synonym-compounds with that in other famous works of pre-Qin Dynasty from the aspects of form and meaning, so as to summarize some characteristics of the synonym-compounds of nouns, verbs and adjectives in Zhuangzi.
