Although psychological skill is a new concept unfamiliar to us, it isof great importance in piano impromptu accompaniment learning andteaching. Troubles that many students are having now in their practicehave nothing to do with their impromptu accompaniment skills and theirsense of music, but do with their, psychological skills. Piano impromptuaccompaniment differs from music accompaniment, therefore, it has itsown characters. On the face of it, it is made up of two aspects: impromptuaccompaniment with skills and impromptu accompaniment playing skills,but actually it contains third one—. psychological skills. Three of themmix together and link to each other closely, psychological skills mainlyinclude introspective psychological skills both in piano accompanimentand impromptu performance, while piano accompaniment withpsychological skills has two kinds: harmony with introspectivepsychological skills and figure with psychological skills. This paper hasmerely discussed how piano accompaniment accompanies withpsychological skills.According to the findings: Piano impromptu accompaniment withpsychological skills refers to the ability of steady psychological activityshown in piano impromptu accompaniment, it as ordinary intelligenttechnique. In practice, we should stress: (1) accumulate harmonicvocabulary, set up a stock for harmonic words; (2) analyze harmoniceffects, gradually develop harmonic innermost hearing ability; (3) masteraccompaniment figure, construct a stock for it.
