Impromptu accompaniment class is a very important curriculum for musicology and teacher education in regular institution of higher education, which largely affect the level and quality of teachers education of primary and secondary school.Therefore,a good Impromptu accompaniment class is an important task for every College's music learning. Ministry of Education issued National common universities musicology (teachers education) undergraduate compulsory course teaching guidelines specifically in November 2006,which promoting the development of music education, and also had an important influence on improvisation classes.Because of a variety of reasons,whether the instruction number or training quality of Impromptu accompaniment class has undergone big changes, in order to adapt to such changes, improvisation course reform is imperative.This article which titled by the research of Impromptu accompaniment class reform, taking Dalian University where the author located for cases, came to a briefly summary of the instruction and reform of Impromptu accompaniment class,and then carded the relationship between the classes which related to Impromptu accompaniment class, thus reach a conclusion:University impromptu accompaniment class cannot be separated from the learning of basic theory, and connected closely to students'piano level, harmonic and musical form, and only reasonable teaching purpose and accurate discipline positioning, tightly buckled teaching object and content, reform and practice which can strengthening teaching methods, the establishment of a comprehensive course Guarantee and Assessment mechanism and actively cultivate students creative thinking can embark a new road of the development of this course.
