| This paper analyses the object which bases on needy students'finance aid problems at Sun Yat-Sen University (from 1930's to 1940's).According to the investigation of this case, it tries to analyze the studyand living conditions of the needy students during the Republic ofChina. Meanwhile, it probes into the government, society anduniversity's attitude, methods and measures which were used to solveneedy students' obstacles. By learning those lessons, it can providereferences for handling current needy students' problem, so that therelative researches can be moved a step forward.Basing on the discussion about the shaping reasons and existingproblems of needy students amount the Republic of China period, thispaper underlines and discusses the system and organizing construction,assistance mode from 1930's to 1940's at Sun Yat-Sen University.
