The paper considers that Ren Bonian possesses the talent of using Chinese writing brush and extraordinary painting ability. His figure paintings break the limit of traditional line figure painting. With the skill of western charcoal drawing, he made some new accomplishments in Chinese painting expression. He also utilized western painting skills in flower-bird works, shaping vividly and coloring brilliantly. His painting style is combining the normal with the self and combining the normal with the new.
