Research On The Reform Of The System Of Artistic Performance Organization (1996-2005)

The system of artistic performance organization is an important part of the cultural system. And the reform of the system of artistic performance organization, which is the important part of the whole socialism systematic reform with Chinese characteristics, is in progress at the same time with the economic system reform and is affected by it. After reforming for more than twenty years, the artistic performance organization in China has already been founded a commixture system with the characteristic of planning system and marketing system, and will reform unceasingly towards marketing system direction in the future.In the process of reform, the artistic performance organization in China takes on typical difference in areas and troupes. In this article, we mainly take the ten-year (1996-2005) reform course of the artistic performance organization directly under Hubei Province as an Example, especially the act and experience of Hubei provincial opera and dance drama theatre and Hubei provincial Beijing opera theatre. By comparing with the experience of the artistic performance organization in other provinces, using a great statistical data, and analyzing the condition of different troupes concretely, we try to explore the reform process of the state-owned artistic performance organization. And we always keep the research thoughts and technological path that is from theory to practice, and then from theory to practice. We discuss the issue on base of systems theory to bring the reform of the system of artistic performance organization into the social transitional environment. Analyzing the relationship between the reform of the system of artistic performance organization and society, we divide the reform of the system of artistic performance organization into three levels to consider the process of it: government and artistic performance organization, society and artistic performance organization, the inner of artistic performance organization. By analyzing the specific system reform transition of the three levels, we try to find the path of the development of artistic performance organization, sum up the experience, discover problem and exploring the countermeasure. The emphases are different in the above three levels.We discuss the reform of the system of artistic performance organization in the above three levels, and then we find that state-owned artistic performance organization will reform unceasingly towards marketing system direction in the future because of the exterior environment and internal factors. And thus it is necessary for the macro-management of the government to transform from major administrative intervention to major economic means. And in the social aspect, we should build more perfect perform market and other correlative systems to support the reform of the system of artistic performance organization. And moreover, artistic performance organizations should operate autonomously, and be responsible for their own profits and losses, along with the direction of the industrialization reform, in order to achieve the full development of the social and economic benefit under the guidance of government and the function of market.
