With the flourishing development of the Teaching Chinese As a Foreign Language, the morpheme research has obtained the considerable achievements. There is no doubt to the importance of the morpheme teaching, but what is the ture"morpheme teaching"? As everyone knows, the learning of compound words and the acquiring of morphemes are both the process to obtain the meanings. Moreover, the morpheme meaning is the base to know the word meaning. But until now, nobody inquires into it delicately. This paper wants to investigate foreigners'acquisition of the monosyllabic polysemous morphemes through contrastive count analysing and test surveying.This paper first studied two databases of Monosyllabic Morpheme Database of Graded Vocabulary for HSK and Han Yu Interlanguage Database,and then from two databases chose randomly some polysemous morphemes to contrastively count and analyse, finally also chose randomly some polysemous morphemes from the first database as the experimental materials to survey the family problems of the polysemous morphemes. The results show that the polysemous characteristic has a great influence to foreigners'acquisition. Firstly, the types of different meanings in the morpheme,the ability of morphemic meanings to combine words,the semantic correlation among different meanings, all are the influence factors for foreign students to distinguishing the polysemous morpheme; secondly, with the promotion of forergners'Chinese, their polysemous system is going to be consummate, and their distinguishing ability to the different meanings is also going to promote step by step.According to the above studying fruits, we put forward"morpheme teaching"should have focalization. Especially facing to the"polysemous morphemes", according to the characteristics of themselves and their family members, we need more adopt the according teaching strategies. So that, the conception of"morpheme teaching"is carried out effectively.
