Vocabulary Teaching is a very important aspect at Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but the current status of modern Chinese vocabulary characteristics is worrying. It is very imperative to improve teaching vocabulary methods. In this paper, the author made a study of relations of two-syllable noun's lexical meaning and morpheme meaning in"the Outline of the Graded Vocabulary for HSK"("The outline of HSK for short"), and combined the research with the Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, in order to do a new attempt to improve the Chinese vocabulary teaching.At first, the author examined two-syllable noun's structure and meaning, found that the structural characteristics and the number of meaning of two-syllable nouns, and then analyzed the relations of two-syllable noun's lexical meaning and morpheme meaning, applied the cognitive linguistics theory, lexics theory, grammar theory, semantics theory to made a in-depth exploration of the unequal relations between the lexical meaning of nouns and the meaning of morpheme, and at last made a summary of them.This paper attempted to put the preliminary research on Chinese vocabulary teaching and suggested that we can make a overall use of morpheme analysis, the overall use of lexical meaning, the overall use of network of noun system for teaching to make up for the shortcoming of the morpheme teaching methods and the lexical meaning teaching methods then reduced the difficulty of attaining the term.
