According to the changing of Chinese Government, This article divides this time into two stages to study China and Singapore's trade: Republic of China initial period and Nanjing national government time. This article has utilized real diagnosis law, measurement analytic method, and comparison test and so on in the research process. And mainly used"Foreign trade of china"has made a quantification analysis to Republic of China time China and Singapore's trade and its commodity structure. Through this research I have discovered some characteristic and the reason about China and the Singapore trade during Republic of China time. According to China and Singapore's import-export trade and its commodity structure during Republic of China time, we find that this two country's economic development is quite backward. The primary products which the technical content is not high and the attachment value is low occupied the main part in respective of the export commodity. In Republic of China initial period China and in Singapore's trade, China's export products to hold some superiority in the technical content aspect compare to Singapore's export product, the half finished product and the finished product holds the certain share in the products that China export to Singapore. And China basically in Chinese and in Singapore's trade is at the favorable balance of trade position in this stage. The cargo type that China export Singapore to have the increase, Half finished product, the finished product commodity also has the increase during Nanjing national government time. But the growth scope is very slow and the export amount which export to Singapore's is not too stable at this time. The commodity structure has changed slightly which China import from Singapore turns over a new leaf in this stage. Half finished product, the finished product increased. This reflection new goods come into the market that the Singapore industry economy also to have the development in this time. Looked from this time, Chinese and the Singapore respective economy development is very slowly. China also holds the certain superiority in Chinese and in Singapore's trade: On the one hand Chinese are in the favorable balance of trade the status majority of time, on the other hand closes Chinese the industry finished product to be more than Singapore's industry finished product in the import-export trade,it reflected new goods come into the market Simultaneously that Singapore is a Chinese industrial product sale quite important market.
