Zhang Xiaoxiang is the early Southern Song Dynasty famous patriotic Ci-poet.His Ci-poem has the style of Xionghao and vigorousness.He has inherited the style of Sushi and Xin Qiji continued to study the same style. Zhang Xiaoxiang played a significant role in the course of the shift of the Ci-poem from the Northern Song Dynasty to Southern Song Dynasty. Based on the experiences of Zhang Xiaoxiang and the research which is on the stage and classification of his Ci-poems, we have evidence of his status and value in the history of the development in the Song Dynasty. There are two things which has influenced his status and value: Zhang Xiaoxiang was the champion in the important exam.Zhang Xiaoxiang had friendly contact with Tang Situi and Zhang Jun.
