Research On Zhang Xiaoxiang's Poetr

Zhang Xiaoxiang,whose courtesy name is Anguo and literary name is Yuhu Kulapati,is a famous writer in the Southern Song Dynasty.Through the ages,his poems has been widely focused.At present,however,the researches on Zhang Xiaoxiang's poems are relatively weak.Therefore,this thesis,with the combination of historical records,taking Zhang Xiaoxiang's poetry as the object,analyzes his works deeply and meticulously with an attempt to present the poet's temperament and talent.Overall,this thesis is divided into five chapters in addition to Introduction and Conclusion.In the first chapter,the thoughts of Zhang Xiaoxiang will be briefly introduced in terms of politics and religion.As for the former,his thoughts on resistance against Jin's invasion and partisan conflict are embraced.As the latter,his ideas about the absorption and utilization of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism are provided.In the second chapter,in accordance with the history,the poems by Zhang Xiaoxiang will be classified into four types according to the theme and content,namely,patriotic poems,drift-themed poems,farewell poems and hermit poems.As a result,his poems will be more rationally perceived.In the third chapter,the study focuses on the various styles of Zhang Xiaoxiang's poems.Under the influence of the era,his own personality and knowledge,Zhang Xiaoxiang formed the poetic style featured by magnificent and uninhibited,sorrowful and deep,simple and natural and profound and detached.In the fourth chapter,images in Zhang Xiaoxiang's poems will be categorized into two kinds,including natural images and humanistic ones.At the same time,the emotions and aesthetic connotations shown in images will be analyzed.In the fifth chapter,the inheritance and influence of Zhang Xiaoxiang's poems will be expounded.First,the inheritance of several former poets,including Tao Yuanming,Dufu and Sushi,will be briefly probed.Then,the influence of Zhang Xiaoxiang on the later generations will be discussed from the perspective of his personality and poetry.
