Now, it is an age of brand competition. Larry Light, an American marketing expert, has said that the future marketing will be a war about brand competition and the only way to the market is first possessing the preponderant brand, based on an analyse on marketing tendencies in the 21th century. China is the biggest ceramics production country in the world, but it has not predominant brands in the international ceramics markets.During The Expert Forum on Ceramics design "in The Seventh China Ceramic Fair Tangshan session of Tangshanover 70 year-old tearfully said that Ceramics design is vital part for China from a country of quantity production to one of quality production. Therefore, it is important and profound to value the designers' essential role and relationship between the Designer and Brand Establishment of Daily Use Ceramics.So, by using the methods of literature study, experts interview, case analysis (specific instances and pictures)and theory reasoning, the essential role and the specific value shows of the designers during Brand Establishment of Daily Use Ceramics, as well as the challenges to the designers during Brand Establishment of Daily Use Ceramics in 21th century. The main conclusions are as follows:1 The designers are the motivity of establishing Brand of Daily Use Ceramics and the soul of figuring Brand of Daily Use Ceramics.2 The designers' "Quality Design" is the premise of insuring brands prestige of Daily Use Ceramics. The designers' "Characteristic Design" is the guarantee of developing brands of Daily Use Ceramics; The designers' "Innovation Design" is the long-term strategy to the survival of brands of Daily Use Ceramics. The designers' cultural capacity has the important influence to the cultural establishment on brands of Daily Use Ceramics, The preeminent designers can foresee and guide the developing tendency of brands of Daily Use Ceramics.3 The challenges to the designers during Brand Establishment of Daily Use Ceramics in 21th century are how to possess balanced knowledge structure and innovative thought so as to promote sustainable development of brands of Daily Use Ceramics; how to advance with the times and surpass the before among Learning Society: how to widen and contain different design concepts and display personal designs; and how to band together with China Daily Use Ceramics to shape the systemic, cooperative and scientific design view.
