Investigations on the very occurrence of modern literature should not be carried out by merely tracing back to the past. There is a common sense needed to be esteemed, that is, literary revolution in essence is a self-flaunted cultural movement deliberately plotted by modern Chinese literati in order to break away from the traditions. Advocates for literary revolution expounded their texts and then practiced their imagination on western cultures as well as the foresights on China's future, which on the whole composes the logical frame of 'coexistence with difference' in literary revolution. Therefore, objectively it consists of two modes of thinking—explanations by groups and those by individuals; In the meantime, there is huge room left for explanation at either facet. Even though sheerly viewed as a concrete historical event, literary revolution is a complex text made up of diverse logics of thinking and conceptions. By categorizing historical facts and restoring the original events, researchers can find that literary revolution in 1918 takes on varied sights and gives birth to the successive disintegration and recombination. Accordingly, if categorizing the theoretical and written advocacies first put forward by Hu Shi, Chen Duxiu and the Zhous' brothers nicknamed 'two poles in the new literary world' in 1918 and studying the co-textual relations by referring to the texts before and after the year of 1918, not only can researchers easily find out the headstream of thinking in forming the modern literary traditions and the following disintegrated and vague constitutional logics in literary revolution, but also the successors are provided with more written and spoken resources for describing the possibilities of the occurrences of modern literature. This microcosmical analysis, in fact, is a process of describing and explaining the creation for self-constructional logics of literary revolution. Therefore, the interpretation for the textual logics of literary revolution virtually constitutes the basics for describing the concrete actions of modern literature.
