| As one of the most famous writer in vanguard school, YuHua has received extensive attention from the critical world since he entered the literary world in last of 1980.And then his passion doesn't weaken according to the lower influence of pioneer at the beginning of 1990. Reversely, the whole change of YuHua's novels provide a new topic to the critical world .After ten years hiding, YuHua brings us with his new novel brothers, and shows us a new face. To a writer, new changes means challenges. Firstly ,it is another process to suit for the old readers ,and it is difficult to received to new readers; secondly, a new style also means big challenge, it is hard to controlled in a strange field using a new descriptive way, and the change maybe comes to the failure. The change from avant-garde to folk is successful, so YuHua gained extensive admire from critical word and readers. After ten hard years (from 1995to now), the sage novel brothers changes a lot, but with some old ingredient of former novels. The change is so great that it takes surprise to us, and meantime arises different voices evenly opposite .Surveying the recent ten years, researches about YuHua's novels are generally from idea of writer, topic of the works, form, images and comparison. Under the guidance of Readers- response criticism, this article summarizes the change and discusses the reasons of brothers from four aspects such as the form of narration, attitude towards love, attitude towards life and continuous and betrayal to violence, in order to hold Yu Hua's writing direction.
