Wang Yun,who was born in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing dynasty,is one of the four master researchers of Shuo Wen,and a famous philologist and educationalist.His achievement on philology is paid more and more attention by the contemporary scholars.But the research on him is little.He wrote many books which were revised perfectly.But very few were published and were spread rarely.The books were scattered after his death.There is only his brief biography in Dictionary of Chinese Celebrities.So it's difficult to fully understand this renowned scholar.His books Shuo Wen Shi Li and Shuo Wen Ju Dou have made great innovations on the basis of Shuo Wen and the primer of Shuo Wen series.The primary education was popular during the Qing dynasty.Wang Yun was the best one among the four master researchers.He wrote his own style of books with his own methods of research in both characters and means according to ancient materials.Weifang University has collected his nearly 2000 books.Some of the scripts are of great value.Wang Yun spent most of his time teaching Chinese.His books The Way To Teach Children and To Start to Learn the Words are very important in the history.His teaching thought of making people the center is glorious in the educational history.Wang Yun wrote 48 kinds of books.He edited 59 kinds of others' books.His academic thought is the basis of the following persons.His educational thought is praised by contemporary people.Wang Yun's academic achievement was closely related with his family.His academic family contributed to his academic achievement.To set up morals,success, speech was his highest persuit.Wang Yun had great academic contributions.We can say that he is a great person in academic history of Qing dynasty.Wang Yun's sixth grandson Wang Lin sent most of the books to Weifang University library in 2004.The Wang family protected most of the books through the wars,and all kinds of disasters.Wang Lin himself came to work in Weifang University in 2004.he is in charge of the books.He has some study about the collected books,but not much.Now,Beihai culture has been praised by some organizations.Wang Yun has been a research program in Weifang University in 2006.
