On The Generative Syntax Study Of BEI Sentence In Mordern Chinese

The Bei sentence in mordern Chinese is studied systematically in this dissertation.Bei sentence is one type of model sentences in modern Chinese.The research about it has lasted one century,and the results are luxuriant.This dissertation aims to research the derivation of Bei sentence based on predecessora's achievements and explores the syntax position of"Bei "in Bei sentence,and makes an explanation of derivation of Bei sentence rationally.This paper falls into five parts,the main content are discussed as follows:Chapter one is preface.we do a Introduce of this problem's Study significance,Object of study,Range,Method,Purpose,Classify of Bei sentence in traditional grammar and the study of part of speech of Bei.The study of derivation of Bei sentence in Generative grammar.In chapter two,we do a Introduce of the main content of Principle and parameter theory:X'-theory,θ-theory and case theory.Chapter there discusses the sentence role of Bei.Being aimed at the preposition,the verb,auxiliary,representativeness hypothesis,we think that Bei is "Preposition+Passive mark".Chapter four the derivation of Bei sentence.we propose Bei sentence belong to unaccusativity.As for the case of reserve object,we thinke it gains the nominative case.As for the head noun of sentence,we thinke it is topic of conversation.
