The Research Of Auxiliary Verb In Guan Zi

The auxiliary verb is a group of words has many problems that have not been solved, but it is also one of the important Lexical categories deserve to be pay much attention to. In a long period of time, there are different idea about it's range and grammar function in the field of grammar. The paper studies all the auxiliary verbs in Guan Zi by analyzing them from three aspects of syntactic, semantics and pragmatics in order to give a general introduction on the Chinese auxiliary verbs at the ancient period.Firstly, We give a brief introduction of Guan zi and Guan Zi, and we also introduce briefly the method of the paper. Secondly, We introduce some problems of the auxiliary verbs. We bring up the article's formulas to distinguish auxiliary verbs definition and it's range.Thirdly, We put great emphasis on syntactic, semantics and pragmatics of the auxiliary verbs in Guan Zi. In conclusion, the auxiliary verb is an organic system of each independent and adding to each other. Fourthly, We introduce the grammar function of auxiliary verb and the grammar feature of "VP" in Guan Zi. And we give the idea of the paper.Finally, We compare the usage of the auxiliary verbs between in Guan Zi with those in Si Shu in remote Chinese and Shi Shuo Xin Yu. we discover that there are some changes of the auxiliary verb and explain the changes in these years.Basing on the former analysis, we have some conclusions of the paper. The syntactical structure is a decisive factor which causes common verbs shifting into the auxiliary verbs. And the factors of semantics and pragmatics are also important.
