High school students are one of social group who have the heaviest pressure, and a number of students have psychological problem. Due to the severe employment situation, higher pressure for entering to school, and adolescence changes and so on, it is likely to lead to mental enginery unbalance. Therefore, it is urgent for us to focus on them. Lots of surveys indicates that there is closely connection between the psychological health level of high school students and parental rearing, and the parental rearing is the main factor which effects on their mental health. This paper bases on result of these surveys to make the deep research for the relationship of high school student mental health and parental rearing through psychological testing and statistic analysis. PurposeThis paper intends to find inter regulation so as to introduce parents to master the right way of education, abandon improper way, make more high school students grow up in the good education environment and become the excellent students with healthy selfhood.Method1. Six classes of grade one and two in aerospace senior high school was chose randomly, applying to the method of entire sampling with releasing self-making questionnaire, SCL-90 and EMBU, and taking back effective questionnaire excluding single parent family. Finally, 283 students are incorporated into the survey. In addition, all subject investigated is voluntary. In order to improve test reliability and validity, corresponding reward method was used to encourage them.2. By statistic survey data, the situation of high school student psychology was described in accordance with the result of SCL-90 and compared with national youth norms (refer to investigated ages of this survey).3. Analysis of variance was made according to the items of investigation for factors of SCL-90.4. Key point is to describe analysis of variance and multi-compare for psychology health level of high school students of different education style with combination of parental rearing, classifying to negative of both parents, single parent positive or positive of both.5. Corresponding analysis was made for the factors of EMBU and SCL-90.6. The relationship among the scores and sum scores of factors for high school student mental health, education style and other factor was studied by multiple regression analysis to ensure which factors have the predictive validity for high school student mental health.Results1. Scores of all factors of high school students are higher than national youth norms. The comparison of all factors with youth norms has statistic significance(p<0.05).2. Expect FF1(the education method of feeling and understanding from father), for somatization,obsessive-compulsive,anxiety,psychoticism and MF1(the education method of feeling and understanding) for somatization are negative correlation without statistic significance, FF1, MF1 for other factors all have statistic significance. FF2 (severe punishment of father), FF3( excessive interference of father), FF5( denial to deny from father), FF6(excessive protection), MF2(excessive interference of mother), MF3 ( denial to deny from mother), MF4(severe punishment of mother)for the factors of mental health are positive correlation with statistic significance.3. The education style is related to the self-valudation scale. The score of each factor per classification of education style in 6 different groups has different influence on each factor of SCL-90. Compare with the education method of parent feeling group, only 3 factors for depression,hostility and paranoid ideation within the group that neither of them apply to the education method of feeling and understanding has statistic difference. Compare with no excessive interference of both parents group, all factors in the excessive interference group have statistic difference. While 6 factors for somatization,anxiety,hostility,photic anxiety,paranoid ideation and psychoticism in the group that one of parents applies to the education method of excessive interference have statistic difference. Compare with neither of parents denial to deny, all the factors in the group that both of them are denial to deny have statistic difference. While 3 factors for somatization, obsessive-compulsive,psychoticismin in the group that one of them who is denial to deny have statistic difference. Compare with neither of parents severe punishment, all the factors in severe punishment of parents group have statistic difference. While only one factor for hostility in the group that one of them applies to severe punishment group has statistic difference. In the preference test group, three categories don't have statistic significance. Compare with no protection of father group, all the factors in protection of father group have statistic difference.Conclusion1. Mental health of high school students is not very well. Student scores of all factors for SCL are higher than national youth norms. The result of survey in some extent indicates curently high school students confront special metal healthy problem and the trend increases gradually.2. Mental health of high school students differ in pre or post classifying subject, the art and science subject, sex, self-subject feeling for happiness, parents education level, key class or not. The mental health of grade two students are worse than that of grade one. The mental health of students after classifying the class is worse than those before. The mental health of students in art subject is worse than those in science. The mental health of girls is worse than boys. There is no difference between excellent students or not and excellent cadre or not. The students in multi-children family, score for factor of obsessive-compulsive,interpersonal,depression and psychoticism is evidently higher than those in single child family. The students in key class, score of depression,photic anxiety,and sum score of factor is evidently higher than those in common class.3. The education of parents is related to their mental healthy level. The high school students who receive the education method of feeling and understanding from both of parents have healthy psychology. Those who receive the education method of feeling and understanding, excessive interference, excessive interference or denial to deny from one of their parents will lead children to mental unhealthy. Those who receive the education method of preference test or severe punishment(except hostility,hate,reverse reaction) from one of the parents are not influenced greatly. Those who receive the education method of excessive protection from their fathers are influenced greatly.
